Local Diagnostics

Because CEO-in-a-Box operates offline, you are empowered to diagnose issues locally using the built-in debug commands.

If ceo web cannot connect to the server, ensure the daemon is running with ceo service start.

Does CEO-in-a-Box collect telemetry?

No. CEO-in-a-Box runs entirely locally. We do not collect telemetry, crash reports, or usage data.

Do I need to pay for provider API keys?

You use your own API keys for cloud providers like OpenAI or Anthropic, so you only pay for your direct usage. Local providers like Ollama are completely free to use.

Can I run it completely offline?

Yes. If you use a local model provider (e.g., Ollama, LM Studio), CEO-in-a-Box is fully air-gapped and requires no internet connection to operate.
